Nina Mingya Powles is a poet from Wellington, currently living in London. Her recent poetry publications include Luminescent (2017) and field notes on a downpour (2018) and several poetry zines. She is the editor of Bitter Melon 苦瓜 and was co-winner of this year's Landfall Essay Competition. She is working on a collection of essays about water.
