THE PANTOGRAPH PUNCH

Community Guidelines

The Pantograph Punch believes in providing a nurturing space for the next generation of writers, and in championing voices and perspectives that have historically been marginalised. What sets us apart from other platforms is our supportive editorial process, with our writers receiving feedback and mentoring as they develop their pieces. Most importantly, we are committed to honouring our obligations to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Our website and our social media platforms are the various whare for our Pantograph Punch whānau, and because of that we have community guidelines to keep the whānau safe and thriving. We love critical discussion, that is after all what we do, but people must engage in online discussion with respect and care. Content and comments that discriminate against people based on their protected rights, and incites any form of online harm is unacceptable.

We are a small team, and sometimes it may take a couple of days till we get to a comment that violates our community guidelines, but we will get there. If you think that we have missed something, feel free to give us a heads up by emailing us at kiaora@pantograph-punch.com. If we believe that someone has violated the Pantograph Punch community guidelines their comments will be deleted. People who repeatedly do so will be blocked.

We appreciate your assistance in keeping The Pantograph Punch an open and safe place for our communities.
