Fundraising extraordinaire? We want you!

We’re on the look out for a new Fundraising Manager

The Pantograph Punch is an online journal and a hub for smart, passionate conversations. We believe in the value of the arts, in developing and showcasing talented writers, and in enriching the quality of the critical conversations we’re having as a nation. We publish thoughtful and urgent writing interrogating issues related to arts and culture in Aotearoa.

We have a unique opportunity to bring on a Fundraising Manager for 6 months, with the key focus of helping us develop, implement and launch a membership programme.

Our Fundraising Manager will be a key addition to our team, helping us find new ways to fund our meaningful and important work. Working in collaboration with the Director, our Fundraising Manager’s work will focus on the membership programme, with the key purpose of generating new revenue. Working with our Communications Manager, they will launch this programme, manage relationships with new and potential partners, donors, corporate sponsors and members, and participate in the culture of the organisation, by attending fortnightly meetings with the full team and providing them with brief weekly updates

We are looking for a positive, proactive, arts-loving individual with entrepreneurial flair that believes in the kaupapa of The Pantograph Punch.

You will be flexible and happy working autonomously, and ideally you will have demonstrable experience in business development, fundraising and/or revenue generation. Alternatively, you may have been working in an arts production environment, have your ear to the ground when it comes to the cultural conversation, and have some great ideas around membership programmes.

All of our collaborative team work part-time hours remotely across the motu. As this role reports to the Auckland-based Director, it would be ideal if you were Auckland-based yourself, but we welcome applications from those comfortable working in a digital environment nation-wide. This is a fixed term role for 6 months, 0.5 FTE, and the salary is $31,200 per annum.

To apply, please send a CV and a cover letter with a bit about yourself, your experience, and what you'd love to bring to the role to Interim Director Lana Lopesi at [email protected] by Friday 28 May. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!
