We saw Inside Job at the Auckland Film Festival tonight. Both courageous and intelligent, I thought it did a good job of laying bare the sometimes incomprehensible cycle that bought the world to this point where it could have coasted on teary faces and foreclosed homes. Michael Moore would have bought an especially nice and poor family face to face with a mean, nasty banker. I admire Charles Ferguson because he didn’t pull those tricks, while letting enough witnesses and participants speak for themselves to leave me profoundly angry.
