Write for The Pantograph Punch

We're looking for arts writers to join our team on a freelance basis. You may be interested in discussing shows, chewing over ideas that matter to you, or producing interesting character studies. Whatever it is, we'd love to hear it.

How we operate

All our commissions go through a supportive workshop process: you'll work closely with an editor, get feedback, and you'll get paid - our rates range from $50 to $400 depending on length.

Get in touch

Email us with a brief introduction (your name, which city you're based in and which art form you'd like to specialise in - whether it's theatre, literature, music, visual arts, film, TV or something else entirely) and two writing samples related to that art form. Ideally you'll have read the site and know our style (and even more ideally, your writing samples will reflect that). We'll do our best to reply to everyone, but it may take a while (please bear with us - we're a tiny team working the few hours we manage to snatch from our evenings!)
